Mark Vella
Managing Director
As a thought-leading mentor, speaker and Director, Mark draws on 22-years of experience gained in a range of business sectors. As a behavioural specialist, his work combines emotional intelligence, lifestyle medicine, governance, entrepreneurial and strategic thinking.
Mark is a Certified Director with The Institute of Directors South Africa. He hold a Postgraduate Hons. in Management Practice from The Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town. He is registered with the Allied Professions Council of South Africa. As Non-Executive Director, Mark is the Chair of the CDI Capital Growth Fund Investment Committee.
Lynn Vella
Chief Operating Officer
Having originally qualified as an Auditor in 2008, Lynn has over 17 years experience as a Governance & Risk Management professional in the financial services sector. Including internal controls, operational risk and market conduct. Her career experience includes Old Mutual, Metropolitan and Retail Capital Services.
Additionally, Lynn gained experience in the United Kingdom for Old Mutual. Moore Stephens and in the UK National Health Sector. Lynn is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa.
Takalani Netshabumu
Administrative Assistant
From a young age, Takalani observed the challenges families in her community experienced with managing personal finances. This motivated her to complete her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Venda, majoring in Auditing, Taxation, Financial and Managerial Accounting. She completed further training in Sage and Business Information Systems.
Her efficiency, work ethic and dedication support our executive team in financial and administrative management. Additionally, Takalani is currently completing a Systems Development program though the Capaciti Digital Career Accelerator.
Tlamele Lolokwane
Bid Coordinator
With a National Diploma in Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), Tlamelo was selected to further her studies in finance and accounting at the University of Münster, Germany in 2019. She returned to complete her Advanced Diploma in Management at CPUT, specialising in financial and strategic management. Tlamelo’s diligence and quiet determination add depth to Sapientt’s business development.
Tlamelo gives back by tutoring 2nd and 3rd year Financial Management students, and as a teaching volunteer for commercial subjects at schools in North West Province and Langa. Additionally, she runs community fitness classes in her native North West and Cape Town.
